On setting passcode to secure your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, you must remember it cautiously because on entering wrong code, your iOS device will be locked permanently.
At such case people normally try to guess or try to remember the password and enter the passcode to access their iPhone. But, when you have entered the incorrect passcode for 10 times, then you will get a message “iPhone is disabled, connect to iTunes”.
Below is the list of circumstances you have to face when you enter wrong passcode for first 10 times:
- 1-5 incorrect passcode attempts: No problem.
- 6 incorrect attempts: iPhone disabled for 1 minute.
- 7 incorrect attempts: iPhone disabled for 5 minutes.
