Some passcodes are so efficient that sometimes users and – even you forget it. And sometimes we get stuck on big problems when we try to enter different passcodes 6 times and then an alert message tells that the iPhone is disable requesting you try after 1 minute. Nevertheless, this is the cases that many iPhone users get stuck with. So, when you forget passcode, you can apply any of the methods to unlock your iPhone as per your scenario:
1- How to Unlock your iPhone by Restoring your iPhone if you have previously synced it with iTunes
If you have previously synced your iPhone with iTunes, then you can try to reset passcode by restoring the device with iTunes backup. Follow the steps mentioned below:
Step 1 – Connect your iPhone with your computer through USB cable and launch iTunes. But make sure that you must use computer on which you have sync your iPhone with your iTunes. If not then iTunes will prompt you to enter passcode. Neverthless, if you are not able to find computer on which iTunes does not ask you for password, then you can use the second way – erase your iPhone.
Step 2 – But what if your iPhone is still disabled and your iTunes is not able to sync your iPhone automatically; you will require syncing your iPhone with your iTunes manually. Click View > Show Sidebar, your iPhone is appeared in the left sidebar.
Step 3 – Once the backup and sync is finished, click on your iPhone under Device in the sidebar. On the right side, slick “Summary” tab and then click on Restore iPhone button.
Step 4 – After then you may also click on Summary tab. In the Backups area, click Restore Backup. After that you can reset iPhone passcode.
2 – How to Unlock your iPhone if you have never synced your iPhone with iTunes
If you are not able to unlock your iPhone by following the above methods because then you can try this methods to delete your iPhone (Complete data on your iPhone will be deleted).
Step 1 – Press and hold Power button of your iPhone for exactly 10 seconds until the red slider appears. Slide the slider to turn off your iPhone.
Step 2 – Now connect your iPhone with computer via data cable and press and hold the Home button.
Step 3 – Hold the Home button until you see the option Connect to iTunes screen on iPhone. iTunes will remind that it has recognized the device in Recovery mode. And finally click on OK and then restore your iPhone.
